KRISTEN JONES

Director/Instructor/Choreographer

Kristen Jones began dancing at the tender age of 3 and has not stopped since. She has performed for the late mayor Marion Barry, with the Famous Jones Haywood School of Dance, & with Debbie Allen in two productions at the Kennedy Center. She has also performed with Capitol Movement Project in guest choreographer pieces by Laura Edwards & Helanius & has served as a back up dancer for several recording artists.  Kristen has an extensive dance training history beginning with RJV school of dance, continuing to Thomas G Pullen Arts Magnet School with a major in dance, Jones Haywood School of Dance, C & C Dance Company, Dance Theater of Harlem resident summer program, Suitland High School for the Visual & Performing Arts with a major in Dance & University of Maryland College Park majoring in Dance & Family Science.
Kristen is now a married, mother of two little girl, owner & Artistic Director of K Nicole Dance Company. She continues to share her love of dance with children & adults of all ages with hope that she will inspire many young children to pursue their dance dreams and become the next generation of greatness.

KEVIN GOODWINE

Kevin Goodwine began dancing at the age of nine, under the tutelage of Michelle Watkins, Carmen Davis and Ivey Davis at the Palmer Park Recreation Center in Landover, MD where discipline, perseverance, a hard working attitude and understanding of the art form were instilled early.
Mr. Goodwine graduated from the Duke Ellington School of the Arts in Washington, D.C., and continued his education at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA. His training extends to the Rock School of Ballet in
Philadelphia, PA, Pacific North West Ballet in Seattle, WA and the Ailey School in New York, NY, where he received a full scholarship to the Fellowship program. While there, he was awarded the Judith Jamison Award, and shortly thereafter became a member of Ailey II.
Mr. Goodwine has traveled both nationally and internationally, performing most notably in China, Bermuda, Germany, Paris, Hong Kong and Prague. He has worked with a host of instructors and choreographers, including Lynn B. Welters, Sandra Fortune-Green, Kim Bears, Janette H. Gillis, Kevin Malone, Lisa Johnson, Adrain Bolton, Katherine Smith, Sonia Dawkins, Milton Myers, Christopher Huggins, Wayne St. David, Kevin Iega Jeff, Mia Michaels, Frank Hatchett, Ronald K. Brown, Darrell Grand Moultrie, Robert Battle, Complexions Contemporary Ballet, SD Prism Dance Theatre, Tania Perez-Salas Contemporary Dance, Elisa Monte Dance Company, and the Fred Benjamin Dance Company. He has also appeared on television in La Academia Tres in Mexico City, MX, and has been a member of the Radio City Rockettes Christmas Spectacular Tour of New York City, NY for ten years. Mr. Goodwine's teachings and choreography are shared amongst his students in the DC/MD/VA area.
