Kristen Jones began dancing at the tender age of 3 and has not stopped since. She has performed for the late mayor Marion Barry, with the Famous Jones Haywood School of Dance, & with Debbie Allen in two productions at the Kennedy Center. She has also performed with Capitol Movement Project in guest choreographer pieces by Laura Edwards & Helanius & has served as a back up dancer for several recording artists.  Kristen has an extensive dance training history beginning with RJV school of dance, continuing to Thomas G Pullen Arts Magnet School with a major in dance, Jones Haywood School of Dance, C & C Dance Company, Dance Theater of Harlem resident summer program, Suitland High School for the Visual & Performing Arts with a major in Dance & University of Maryland College Park majoring in Dance & Family Science.
Kristen is now a married, mother of two little girl, owner & Artistic Director of K Nicole Dance Company. She continues to share her love of dance with children & adults of all ages with hope that she will inspire many young children to pursue their dance dreams and become the next generation of greatness.

Advanced Dance Instructor

Ebony Tuzon has studied and had a passion for dance since the age 3. She started as a student of Marcellus Dance studio at age 5 under Marcellus Reynolds. She attended Thomas G. Pullen Performance Arts school grades K-8 where she majored in dance. She continued her education at Suitland High school where she was apart of the Visual and Performing Arts program as a Dance major . Ebony completed her Bachelors degree at Bowie State University with her BS in Child and Adolescent Studies and minor in Dance . In 2011, she joined UFN, a DMV based hip hop competition team, where she traveled across the US to compete. Ebony has been teaching a range of dance forms such as creative dance, tap, ballet, hip hop , and modern. Ebony is passionate about the youth , and enjoys aiding in expression through movement.



Advanced Dance Instructor

Elise has danced and taught dance for a combined 27 years.  Getting her start at Linda Natoli dance studio where she practiced tap jazz ballet, and lyrical, she also studied at Christian Dance Academy.  Continuing her dance education, she attended Thomas Pullen and Suitland High school, participating, and competing in several dance competitions. On one occasion she achieved he prestigious award of Jr. Miss Dance Xplosion.  Elise then went on to obtain her Modern Dance degree at University of the Arts in Philadelphia. She has performed professionally alongside Chloe Arnold in Syncopated Ladies and using dance to segway into Stage Management and Production.  Most recently producing shows for Six Flags America and Afrosocalove. These professional experiences have also given her the opportunity to delve into design and create Carnival costumes.  Elise brings creativity, multi-cultural experiences, and joy for the arts to share with each rising star at KNDC.
